Q&A
Does this focus on American Christianity?
Though I firmly believe anyone will benefit from these posts, my personal context is American Christianity, and my heart is for the healing of our faith here. So, yes. Much of these posts will focus on the challenges faced by Christians in America.
What’s up with the logo and colors?
The Roman government crowned Jesus with sharp thorns before his crucifixion to mock him. Now, this crown of thorns is a symbol of the King’s suffering, victory over sin and death, and his humility. It’s also a beacon and reminder to Christians that we don’t live for ourselves. As a fun aside: My son recommended the crown of thorns as the main symbol (soon after he declared, “I can be your Chief Marketing Officer!”).
The colors are violet and sunset orange. Purples denotes royalty. And for the orange, it’s a reminder that there is true hope in Jesus now and in the future to come.
